The build-up to the highly anticipated date between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor on August 26 has been a circus, but it’s almost time to put all that way in favor of stepping into the ring. On that date, the two most famous fighters in the world will step into Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena for what some call a super fight and others call a scam. Regardless, millions of fans will be tuning in from every corner of the country, from house parties to bars, to watch the boxers face off.

What fun would this spectacle be without some fun atmosphere and yelling? The Mayweather-McGregor fight should be an event you don’t want to miss, and we’ve collected the best bars showing boxing on Saturday. From New York to Los Angeles, Chicago to Houston, and Miami to San Francisco, these are the bars to hit up if you want to watch the fight on that date.

New York City

Brooklyn, NY 11215

If you’re looking for a more intimate watch party in New York City, Paddy’s Of Park Slope is an interesting option. To get in on this deal, you’ll have to buy tickets by emailing the bar at teemark.paddys@gmail.com

After your 5th drink, anything that happens in the fight will seem exciting, so it’s a win/win. With the price of drinks at most spots in the NYC area, $80 is light change and you won’t be worried about the bar trying to cram to capacity. Plenty of elbow room available.

On the other hand, Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails is a great cheap option if you’re not looking to spend too much. The Kips Bay bar will have a $10 entry fee on fight night, which will also get you a free draft beer at the bar.

They will be showing the fight on a projection screen and four large TV’s. Handcraft will give you a great homely vibe and excellent comfort food so you can watch the fight while you get your grub on. Definitely beats spending $100 to stay home and order the fight on PPV.

Tom’s Urban offers an interesting viewing experience for the fight that you can’t get anywhere else. With 75 big screens availability, there are plenty of good seats in the house. There are three different packages you can buy to get into the venue.

For $25 you get your foot in the door and can sit in the main dining area on the first floor. For $45 you get a seat at the sports deck area or at the bar top on the first floor. The third option is the most intriguing as $55 gets you a seat of your choosing on the top floor that includes a drink ticket and access to an unlimited taco bar. The taco bar includes two kinds of tacos, beans, rice, salad, chips and salsa. The buffet opens at 5:30 PM PT and will stay open until the start of the fight.

For one, they are located right on the beach, so if the fight starts to bore you, you can enjoy a quiet night on the sand. Another sticking point is the fact that there is no cover charge to get in. This will be a rarity on fight night as most bars and venues will look to cash in upon your arrival. Finnegans will show the fight on big screens throughout the space and are offering food and drink specials all night long, before during and after the fight.

The Holy Cow ($15-$25 cover)
1535 Folsom Street
San Francisco, CA 94103

If you’re looking for a 360 inch Jumbotron to watch the fight, then The Holy Cow is for you. With a cover running from $15-$25 they are much cheaper than other options in the Bay Area.

According to the ticket site they’ll be serving tacos, burritos, nachos, tortas and “much more.” There will be a live DJ during the preliminary cards and if the main event is as bad as some boxing experts are predicting, you could always just make your way to the dance floor and try to turn the night around.

Bar San Pancho ($20 cover)
3198 16th Street
San Francisco, CA 94103

It’s clear that everyone will be trying to cash in on this fight, including local bars. Many Bay Area bars and restaurants are promoting $40-$50 admission fees. With that kind of price tag, you might as well call up some buddies and buy the fight at home.
